The Company

Xeon Financial Services is an Irish company that specialises in banking systems, in particular the implementation of the Oracle Retail Finance products. The directors of Xeon are ex-Oracle principal consultants who worked with the Eontec banking product range. Eontec, designers of a leading J2EE banking application, were acquired by Siebel and then subsequently by Oracle. Between them, the directors have worked on almost every implementation of Siebel Branch Teller in financial institutions across the globe.

Fergus White

Fergus White has 16 years experience in the IT and banking arena. He has worked throughout the lifecycle of systems implementations as a business analyst, systems selector, solution designer, project manager, systems integrator and in testing and performance management. He has worked for banking systems vendors, an independent IT consultancy and directly for banks. He has implemented systems in existing organizations and start-up banks in the UK, Europe, USA, Africa and the Middle East.

Frainc Reid

Frainc Reid has over 13 years experience in IT and the retail banking sector specialising in Siebel Retail Finance. Frainc has experience in all aspects of large banking front office systems implementations having worked as a tester, support engineer, development manager, technical architect, pre sales technical consultant and project manager. Frainc has experience of banking throughout the world implementing systems in, among other places, Chile, Saudi Arabia, Canada and Turkey.

Gearoid Power

Gearoid Power is a specialist in requirements acquisition, analysis and the design of e-Business systems. He is particularly experienced in object-oriented design and developing I.T. architectures. He creates a clear understanding of companies' business objectives and links these to detailed build specifications that anticipate and plan for future needs. Gearóid has been working in the retail financial systems arena for the last 10 years, working in the analysis, design and delivery of internet banking and Teller systems as a project manager, design lead, analysis lead and solution architect. He has over 4 years experience working for a lending institution in the UK. Gearoid is also a certified UML professional.

Moises Ventura

Moises Ventura Espejo is a technical architect with 13 years of international experience in the full lifecycle of financial applications implementations. He has a degree in Telecommunications Engineering, is a Sun Certified Programmer in the Java 2 Platform and has experience of a wide array of emerging technologies. Moises programs in the following languages and technologies: Java, XML / XSL, JAAS, Citrix, C / C++ / Visual C++, Assembler (DSP and Microprocessors), SQL and Host Integration (MQ Series and CICS). He has extensive experience working with J2EE, EJB, JMS, JDBC, WS, RMI, and SOAP. In addition, he is skilled in the following development tools and methods: WebSphere, Weblogic, RAD / WSAD, Eclipse, JBuilder, Rational Rose, UML, RUP and OOP. He has worked as a senior technical architect in banks in the UK, North America, Central Europe and the Middle East and enjoys extensive consultancy expertise.

Paul Donohoe

Paul Donohoe is an experienced consultant who is well versed in all aspects of object oriented analysis, design and development. Paul made substantial contributions to the evolution of the Oracle Retail Finance analysis and design process for component based development. Paul has been involved in more than 10 software delivery engagements for banks, working at all levels of the implementation process.

As well as being a highly skilled Java programmer, Paul has worked in management roles on a number of client banking implementations as a project manager, development manager, design manager and analysis lead. He has also worked as a department manager in a large US Financial Institution.

He has a specialist expertise for creating enhanced design standards to enable increased code generation and design consistency, as well as conducting design reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and standards.
